A Taste of Yoga Therapy

Join Jenifer Cartland of Witness Tree Yoga and Lisa Segar of Soul Deep Yoga as they guide you through a taste of Yoga Therapy. In this 75-minute class, there will be plenty of time for discussion, practice and reflection. This class is free and open to everyone, no matter your level of yoga experience.

Yoga Therapy supports healing, well-being and resilience. It can be used to treat a wide array of biopsychosocial conditions such as pain, injuries, anxiety and grief. Yoga Therapy helps individuals who are new to yoga as well as those who are experienced practitioners. Incorporating the 8 limbs of yoga, treatment is typically done in private sessions. After a individual assessment, the yoga therapist partners with the client to build a plan to meet the client’s individual needs.
