Back bending requires a beautiful balance of strength and flexibility which stems from a great deal of psychological equanimity and energetic movement to maintain these shapes.
In this workshop, Brooke Margherone will break down the fundamental techniques of back bending, with safety as the priority, to help you effectively create S P A C E and ENJOY extending the spine. We’ll explore:
- The major platforms of the body
- The wide array of benefits experienced through bending backwards
- The correct alignment for your individual skeletal make up in common backbends you see in classes
- Plus, some variations and more “advanced” postures suitable for everyone present in attendance.
